Download Manager through VPN?

Does anyone know how to make sure the Download Manager goes through the VPN?

Bearing in mind I have my router set up with selective routing.

SOLVED!

My solution is to set up Client 1 with selective routing and Client 2 that routes all traffic through the VPN. When I am not dloading, I use Client 1 and when I am I use Client 2.
