DSL-N66U TalkTalk IPTV and Fibre VDSL

BrAinZ

New Around Here
Hi Guys,

I need a little help please as this problem is driving me mad! :)

My broadband provider is TalkTalk on Fibre and I also have the TalkTalk TV Plus package which means that I need the IPTV settings to enable the additional channels.

I have contacted Asus who have given me some rather "generic" answers, but I still can't get this working.

I have no problems at all connecting directly to the phone line using the VDSL settings bypassing the need for the supplied BT Openreach modem. But doing this, I can't connect to the TalkTalk Plus TV Channels (401 Sky 1, 402 etc).

If I connect the BT Openreach modem in, and then connect the DSL-66NU to that in Ethernet mode, then the TV channels work fine.

The problem is that I want to do BOTH! :)

Asus support talk about setting the router up using the "Bridge" options, but I get a little lost there. The way that the web based control panel works seems really confusing as it doesn't appear to allow me to change the settings for the VDSL part and the required "Bridge" part ???

I'm sure it's really simple.. once you know what you are doing! :)

ANY help would be appreciated!!
