Solved E-mail from Diversion when sending via Yahoo suddenly does not work !!!

I have been using the auto-backup feature of diversion to send 'Router Backup (Key-files)' automagically for years.
Suddenly they are being bounced by Yahoo.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver the following message.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Subject: ASUS_01 Router Backup (Key-files) 2026-03-08_08.50
To: [email protected]

The Test mail option in AMTM works !!!
The mail from BACKUPMON works !!!
They all use the same files in /jffs/addons/amtm/mail/ for username/password etc.

Help !!!!

Could it be that it doesn't like the content? These keys? Can you look in the sent items in your Yahoo account and examine the message + header?

It is not the content !!!

I have opened the 'SENT' email folder and re-edited the e-mail via Thunderbird (added random line of text to the e-mail) and then resent it ... it works and the modified e-mail is sent and received by Thunderbird.

It appears to be some difference between 'how' diversion is sending the e-mail and 'how' BACKUPMON or the test function in AMTM is sending the e-mail !!!??? [Does not make sense !!!]

The message is as follows (with some changes for security)
The attachment is 13.8K of a gzipped tar file which has been sent unchanged many many times before. (e-mail username/password as highlighted *** < >*** below).

Can you post the (redacted) email header from that mail?
It usually includes the specific reason as a code in that header.

Thanks for the assistance, this is strange !!!

(Cannot see any error code in diversion e-mail Header BUT not sure what I am looking for ???)

Added as attachments as there is 10000 character limit.

Diversion e-mail is undeliverable yet BACKUPMON e-mail does get delivered both via Yahoo mail.

This has been solved,

It was Yahoo !!!

The same messages are now working with no change from me.

Obviously some filter or similar at yahoo was working overtime.
