Entware entware Update (2025/06/02)

There is an entware update that showed up today when I checked for updates from the amtm main menu. After installing it on multiple routers, the only anomaly that I have discovered is that unbound does not start after the update, which typically happens with every entware update. To fix this, simply update unbound (option 1 from the unbound Manager menu).

If you wish to apply the updates, be sure that you have selected bin.entware.net as the entware server as @thelonelycoder and others have not updated their repositories yet.

For me, NTP fails to restart, and SCMerlin fails to restart it - option 8 / Timeserver (ntpd/chronyd) . Though I use ntpMerlin and I'm configured for chrony, and restarting chrony works fine from ntpMerlin (r). This also happened during test of SCMerlin, where it also tried to start up and use NTP as I configuted, even though I have it disabled.

Tried UF for both scripts to reinstall, did't make a difference. Will reboot the router later tonight sine chrony is working, if any one has something they want me to try.

For me scribe failed (known issue: every line in the config file is replaced by the version number) and Tailscale (after “upgrading” back from the downgrade that the Entware update performed; the downgrade is a known “issue”, but the error I got about routes is new, to me).
