Errors: Network Connection Lost

I’m having an issue when a Lightroom Classic plugin tries to connect to a URL in order to upload images. Lightroom reports a “networkConnectionLost” error and refuses to upload the images.

When I connect the computer directly to the cable modem the problem doesn’t happen, so it seems clear that the router is the issue.

The computer is near the main node, not the mesh node.

Here are the details of my environment:
  • Mac mini running MacOS Tahoe 26.1 (25B78)
  • Lightroom Classic 15.0.1
  • Asus ZenWiFi AX (XT8 V1) running 3.0.0.4.388_24710
    • Adaptive QoS is off.
I put an excerpt from the MacOS log files here, in case it helps point to the root cause: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/kvqa...-Log.rtf?rlkey=rps8velglrl9c819l0dqth2tn&dl=0

Have you experienced anything similar, or do you have suggestions for troubleshooting / resolving this issue?

Thanks,

Jim

If you're using AIProtection turn it off and try again.

I've confirmed, AI Protection and Adaptive QoS are disabled.

I did receive a suggestion from elsewhere to disable NAT Acceleration, but I don't see how to do that.

I updated to the latest firmware FW_ZENWIFI_XT8_300438824768.

The problem remains. Did anyone review the logs from my first post? Can anyone suggest other things to try?

Thanks!

Hi Degreb, and thank you for the suggestion.

Assuming you're referring to AIProtection, it is disabled and I see no way to "withdraw" from the AI license. Where would I find that command/switch/option?

Update: I found the Withdraw command on the Administration > Policy tab. After withdrawing from all things AI and rebooting the router, the same error occurs.

I had previously turned on Adaptive QoS" because someone said "this automatically DISABLES NAT Acceleration". I did this, and rebooted the nodes, with no change to this issue.

Thanks
