Ethernet cable for ONT

To connect a 3rd party Router directly to FTTP ONT point, what grade of 5 metre cable will be best suitable please? Will CAT7 flat cable be ok?

Ignore (genuine) Cat 7 and Cat 8 cables. Cat 7 is non-standard and Cat 8 is very specialised. I wouldn't trust any company that claims to be selling "Cat7" Ethernet cables.

For a 5 meter patch cable Cat5e and Cat6 will both do up to 2.5Gb. Cat6a will do 10Gb.
