Have setup OpenVPN, from some time local only to connect my home pc. My work connection is 1Gbps, home i have tested with 2 different isp (100/100) and 50/25, when i copy files, always get 5-6 Mbps to the VPN, my server settings. Any suggestons, I know that RT-AC88U can achieve 70-80 MBps throw OpenVPN, so i mistaken somewhere.
Something else I've notice, when connecting to my fav torrent sites from work throw the OpenVPN, 2 of the sites give that i'm fire walled, not connectable , dunno if its matters.

It's never going to do anything near that because the processor in the router can't handle that kind of encrypted traffic at those speeds. I don't know where you heard the router can support such speeds but it's not true. Especially with any serious version of OpenVPN and actual secure encryption protocols.

Which speeds are you suggesting that the 88U can not achieve using it's openvpn client or server?
