This filter is often called a “Point of Entry Filter.” This means that it is installed at the cable point of entry to your home (ONT for FiOS or FttH customers). Do not install this filter between two MoCA devices that you want to connect! This little device will keep the MoCA signals from leaking out of your home’s cable network. The filter actually reflects the MoCA signals back in to your home’s coax. This is good because it will probably boost your signal strength resulting in a far better video and network performance. Suitable for MoCA, DOCIS3.0, CATV, FiOS, cablenet and other RF systems.
