Is there a mirror of the builds? All the FTP links seem to be dead.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin on Broadcom MIPS RT-N series

Hi Sir, sorry for my noobish question, I have an Asus RT-N10+ D1 and after researching I found out about this awesome firmware

1) I downloaded mod8 RT-N10D1_3.0.0.4_378_4129-gecc8142-m8.trx
2) verified the md5 hash
3) perform hard reset
4) flash it via Webgui Firmware Upgrade using ethernet cable
5) But the process fail with this error "Firmware upgrade fail. It may result from incorrect image or error transmission. Please check the version of firmware and try again."

Am I doing it wrong? or perhaps the firmware isn't compatible with my router RT-N10+ D1?
Based on this readme ftp://85.198.188.40/pub/ASUS/ASUSWRT_MODDED/readme-asuswrt-moded.txt
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Supported devices are:

Broadcom MIPSr2 based routers
RT-N10P (tested)
RT-N10U (tested)
RT-N15U (tested)
RT-N12B1 (tested)
RT-N12C1 (not yet tested, no equipment)
RT-N12D1 (tested, some wifi problems)
RT-N12HP (not yet tested, no equipment)
RT-N12HP_V1 (not yet tested, no equipment)
RT-N12VP (not yet tested, no equipment)
RT-N14UHP (tested, some wifi problems)

RT-N16 (tested)

in theory supported routers with 4 MB flash roms:

RT-N10+D1
RT-N12

I wish you could help me :)

Regards

As long as the links still work, I think it should remain a pinned thread. Even though the project doesn't seem to be updated/supported, it is still of great help.

Off-topic: has anyone heard or know anything from Andrey?

I'd rather unpin it, to avoid people mistakenly taking this as an active project, and installing outdated, potentially non-secure firmwares.

Hi Guys. I need some help, I installed (remote, no access to router, only over network)
374.43_2-22E4j9527 on RT-N16
But I have NVRAM too low message. What can I do ?

Thanks for the new links, was able to give my N10P some new life.

However when I used the mod8 build for OpenVPN client, it seems like there's a problem saving the configuration no matter how many times I hit apply and save the changes. Got this error in the log, any advice?

Hello Andrey,

all links are dead... =(
could you please give one that is alive?

Thanks!
This project is considered abandoned at this point. Is there a specific feature that you are looking for? Which router are you trying to update?

Locking this thread - these releases are quite obsolete by now, and haven't been updated in years.
