Free Memory

Is it ok to not have much free memory? I mean I have no issues, I'm just wondering, mines about 3/4 full n my ax86u

My AX-92U is the same way. I have about 55MB of the 512MB unallocated. I looked around and found the general consensus is that Linux reserves space in RAM and makes it look like it's in use, when its really just cached information that can be dumped at any time if the system needs the RAM.

This may help you; You can see what is being used by cache and buffers by SSHing into your router and do a "free" command;

In short, not an issue

I've seen my routers stable when testing the amtm scripts down to 6MB free.

As long as it doesn't crash the router, just ignore the absolute value it reports. :)
