Build 144 was pulled for some unknown reason.

Someone posted on the Asus forums that a new version is expected within a week, with the 64K nvram fix included.

The 64KB NVRAM firmware should release sometimes by the end of this week or next week. I was not aware of the release of .144 but I did try it out and this isn't the same version I have been testing. As for your feedback I will forward this to our team. Let me know if you have further concerns.

Yes and sometimes it's good not to install every new release...

Hopefully the next fw will fix some bugs w/o implementing new ones!

I thought I just $$$-ed up my router loading your link...I had to reset to default settings and then load my settings again....Phew. I will never load anything other then the fw on asus site.

How do you check the mem via telnet connection with dmesg? Was this less before this fw?

ASUS RT-N66U Firmware v9.0.0.3_128

Installed the ASUS RT-N66U Firmware v9.0.0.3_128 firmware and I am pleasantly surprised! Data transfers thru wifi is running 20 mps! On .144 and .108 I had 10-12 mps at most. Same test conditions.

Web pages seem also to load quicker. Lets see if it crashes over time or not but I have to say this is the formware to run....

Your issue was that since these firmware have the nvram fix the router will be at defaults after the upgrade.

After the upgrade you MUST reenter all setting manually again.

You can not restore setting from a file as those were from a smaller nvram size

Actually I did load it back from a file, all worked well. Don't see why that won't be possible. Moreover here is the output:

It depends on how the saved config gets applied. It's a binary file, so if it's being blindly written on top of the existing nvram, I don't know what happens with the partition signature. That's why it's probably best not to rely on that.
