getting gig symmetrical WAN connection and need to upgrade router.

@System Error Message : can you recommend some how-to pages for the Mikrotik Routerboard? I'd like to learn about this. Perhaps a stable wired connection plus APs would be my best bet for getting my home network stable and secure.

There is the wiki on mikrotik's website and there are some other websites like http://gregsowell.com/?cat=23 , http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=53089 and more. Only go for the ones written by cisco professionals instead of some random non english or indian one.

Some routers like the CCR will be able to handle multiple gigabit WAN and have CPU to spare for doing layer 3 switching. It really depends on what you have.
