GT-AX6000 Restored

I restored GT-AX6000 to stock firmware. After reboot, noticed that it’s still using a partial overlay of Merlin firmware. I have also done a reset. How can I completely wipe and revert back to stock firmware?

Can you perhaps please explain how you identified the partial overlay and did you do a WDS hard reset? See Asus website FAQ for the latter. For the former perhaps refresh your browser, CTRL F5?

There have been issues with Asus routers not being fully reset after a reset with initialize and/or hard factory reset. Your best bet is to flash the Asus firmware again, from the GUI do a reset with initialize and after the router reboots power it off and do a hard factory reset. Then manually configure the router. Do not use a saved settings file. Should work.
