Help needed, Dnscrpyt, DoT, DNSsec

Hi guys, I have searched for all the answers But could not find anything all in one place.

Im a newb at setting all this up, I currently have an Asus RT-AC86U.

Im about to install the latest f/w and reset up the router from fresh, Wiping all current settings.

Can anyone point me in the direction of up to date guides so I can achieve encrypted DNS using the adguard dns, Or better,

new to dns over tls

I just setup dns over tls (rt-ac68u) and I'm not sure how to tell if its working or not...also do we need to put in a tls port? if there is a guide I must have missed it. thx in advance.

Just a very quick follow up, I have followed the posts, Now when I am streaming, it randomly just stops, would this cause Nordvpn to lose connection which would then crash the apps.

Still learning.
