my home plug has brought my broadband speed down to a crawl 1.57Mbps(7.11Kbps) where it should be 7-8Mb

Non make home plug(Ebay) 200 Mb Max

Any help appreciated

Could just be bad adapters (no-name from eBay).

Plug the adapters into the same outlet and check your throughput between them
using two computers to get a baseline measurement. Just transfer a large file
