Hello!
I have a Nas (Synology DS413j) which is behind an Asus N66U. The Nas is connected to a VPN server (Anonine). Before I configured the Nas with VPN i was able to reach it with my router's dynamic DNS and port forwarding, for example dynamicdnsname.asuscomm.com
ort number. This is not possible when I use the internal VPN-client in the Nas. It is possible to connect to the Nas if you are connected to the home network, or when you are connected to the VPN server of the Asus N66U (Synology still connected to Anonine, though). It is possible, though, if "Use default gateway on remote network" is unticked in the VPN settings of the Nas. But with this configuration I get my ISP's IP, which I don't want of course.
To sum up: is it possible to reach a NAS, which is connected to a external VPN server, through a router's dynamic dns (with appropriate portforwading)?
Thanks!
