How do I effectively manage time schedule or network access?

I hoped RT-AC87 will provide better time scheduling then Verizon FIOS router but was wrong. I can not use network grouping to say group my son's computers into single network unit which I can apply policy on, I can not have 2 different schedules for the same computers, there is no UI for mobile interface.
Ultimately I want with single click enable/disable Internet access for my son, preferably available from mobile device and I don't think it's possible in any effective way with current software. Correct me if I' wrong.
Any alternative ROM which will allow me to do that?

Not that I know of. I would suggest buying a second router and power it off on a timer.

Change your main router's ssid passwords for your use only.
