How do I put specific devices onto either 5ghz or 2.5ghz wifi?

I'm running Asuswrt-Merlin v384.19 on a RT-AC86U. I have a looooot of trouble with my roku stick and private listening. I read on that moving the roku and my phone onto different wifi bands can resolve my problems but I can't see how to do this within the RT-AC86U. Currently both my phone and roku are on 5ghz. Thanks

At the device specify which WiFi networks to connect to.

I have my 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi networks set to different SSID names so that I know which one each device is connecting to.

Stay with Dual Band SmartConnect and use the MAC Filter to block devices from either the 2.4 or 5 GHZ bands. Or just let the devices and router decide which band to use. My Roku likes to use the 2.4 GHZ band so I leave it there.
