i just wanted to buy a new wirelss router,
while i was looking on the net, most of the new routers
use WLAN port for connection, while wat am i using
is ADSL router now, which has diffirent port, as u know
ADSL use phone line..

so , i was told that i can directly use a wire from my router
and use the wireless router as access point..

so if this is true, wats the difference will be between access point
and the router??

also , is there any other way, to connect the router directly??

thanx

thanx mate

so , in this case, am i gonna get the full functionality of a router
or access point??

and am i gonna get the full signal range and strength of the router am using?

The wireless router you convert will no longer work as a router. Your current ADSL router will take care of the routing.

You need to follow the instructions in the second article if you want to use the wireless in the ADSL router and the new wireless. If you set the channels properly, there will be no effect on the current wireless.
