Problem: using secure password for my router login, so password includes both uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols. It works fine for router web GUI login, but Samba logins fail.
For example, such password works for GUI, but fails for Samba login:
P@$$W[]rd!
Changing password back to plain text, Samba starts working again. For example, this one works:
plain789!
Running 384.7_2 on AC87U with Linux antergos. In order to keep using strong password for GUI, I need to create a separate user for Samba with dummy password, which I don't like.
Could anyone try this on his router, please? Maybe the issue is not router, but some bug in antergos? Unfortunately, all my 3 PCs run antergos, so I can't test if problem is router or antergos related. Because it simply doesn't work on all 3 systems.
