hwinfo command

Hello,
I'm playing with linux commands in my router, wanted to use "hwinfo" command, but it doesn't work (no output). But i see that it is present in /usr/sbin. Why doesn't it work then?

The router isn't a Linux distro. The hwinfo command is not the same as you would find in such. It is a command used internally by the router and not intended for the end user.

Look in your syslog file, or was it via dmesg? after running the command and see if anything catches your eye.
