Image of attached hdd

Hi guys,
I have 2TB hdd attached to my RT-N66U router. I want to make backup of the system for easy transfer to another disk. I'm using EXT3 file system. Can you tell me how to do it?

Which software will create this backup image?

I want to backup or to make image of existing disk already attached to the router and after that to copy this image or backup to another external disk. I have computer with Windows 7 system on it.
