Install tcpdump - simplest method?

I just installed the current version of Merlin. What is the simplest/cleanest method of installing tcpdump?

Barring that, is there an overview of the different add-on packages that explains what contains what, and why i might want?

Install Entware (https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/wiki/Entware) and then:

opkg install tcpdump

You can install Entware through amtm script which is embedded into Asus-Merlin firmware. Just ssh into your router and type amtm, then follow instructions there.
