Intel SS4200-E and hidden files

Hi

I recently purchased an Intel SS4200-E NAS and am happy with it except for the fact that it doesn't support hidden files. Whilst I was copying my music library to it, I noticed that files like thumbs.db & folder.jpg which are usually hidden under Windows show up on the NAS.

I tried right-clicking on the files, selecting properties and enabling the 'hidden' attribute from Windows Explorer but the file still shows and when I check it again the 'hidden' attribute would have been cleared. It supports the 'read only' and 'archive' attribute but not the 'hidden' one.

Do any of you that have an Intel SS4200-E have the same problem?

Thanks and regards

George

Problem solved by installing Intel SS4200-E Storage System Software Version 1.1.11.32736.
