Internet access from router

New Around Here
I have the RT-N66U connected to my home network as an access point (router connected via LAN port). Is it possible to configure Merlin firmware to get an access to internet from the router?
I have abandoned tomato shibby because of problem with Intel cards but there was such a possibility. When I was connected with telnet I could ping google.com from the console with success.
I would be grateful for any advice.

Put the N66u into the AP mode of operation on the admin page. You will have access to both the Internet and your LAN. FYI in this mode you have the option of connecting the Ethernet cable to the WAN port as in the AP mode it has become a LAN port.
