IPTV through WZR-HP-G300NH

Hi

I have a question about my IPTV service through my router.

My TV service is provided over a FTTH connection by magnet.ie/, with a Motorola MRCU180 set top box. My router is a Buffalo Airstation WZR-HP-G300NH. I would like to connect the router to the internet using the ethernet port though which the set-top box is currently connected and then connect the set-top box to one of ethernet ports of the router.

Can anyone help with this? Is this at all possible?

It's possible. The only issue would be if the product has problem passing multicast traffic, which is often used in IPTV. I can't comment on this, since we don't test for multicast handling.
