Too bad, too. The problem was solvable. AI ruins a person-to-person forum. I hope people start to realize this.
Exactly what an AI bot would say. You are not fooling me, @dave14305 :p

So true. Random thought just this morning: LLMs need to have significantly more shame programmed into them. Humans wouldn't create long drawn out detailed instructions with figures and tables that were 100% wrong. AI: oops, you caught me.

This thread seems to have devolved into a AI issues, but I have an AXE-1600 and have been running 3006_102.7 beta 1 for awhile and everything was fine. I also have AT&T IPV6. I just upgraded to 3006_102.7 (from the beta) and I started losing a few devices on the local lan. When I would reboot the router, the devices came back and then would disappear in - you guessed it - about two hours. Nothing was apparent in the logs, but I'm far from an expert. I saw this thread and tried "service restart_dhcp6c" and that had no effect. So, I just regressed back to 3006_102.7 beta1 to see if things stabilize, and I'll report back in a day or so. I do believe the devices that are going off line are being handled via IPV6 (things like Alexa, etc.). Maybe a line of code got corrupted somewhere from beta1 to final. Don't know, just fumbling in the dark.

I think most people have checked out from this thread, especially since OP now shows as a deleted user, so new replies aren’t likely to get much attention. Better to start a new thread, in my opinion.
