Is a PoE MOCA Filter Required for a DOCSIS3.0 Modem Even if No Internet Speed Issues Are Seen?

1. I have never had problems with my cable modem (i get the advertised speeds).
2. I already have a POE Filter on my cable drop point so this question is if i need a poe filter on the cable modem coax port too. My modem is the TP-Link TC7650 and does not have one built-in and the system details page shows that none of my down/up signals go over 861MHz. My current Moca 2.0 MHz is Band D-Extended @ 1150MHz.
3 Should i still add a PoE Filter onto the cable modem to improve moca performance on the network (ie. via reflection)?

My guess is i dont need the filter at the cable modem since the modem @ DOCSIS 3.0 does not listen to signals in the Moca range, unlike 3.1.
