Is it possible to create a VPN for one LAN port ?

Is it possible to setup a VPN and only route traffic from a designated LAN port through it and the rest of the traffic to NOT go through the VPN ?

This question seems to overlap quite a bit with this thread.

However I have not make great progress sofar.

I think your question is possible already answered in the wiki, there is a manual for a VPN over a SSID. So it is based on wireless, and not wired. Perhaps you can use that. I haven't tried it personally.
