Is the RT-BE88U the successor to the RT-AX88U?

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking at the RT-BE88U and wondering if this is essentially the next generation of the AX88U line.

Can anyone confirm if the RT-BE88U is positioned as the successor to the RT-AX88U? They seem to share similar design philosophy with the 8 LAN ports, but I want to make sure I’m looking at the right upgrade path.

Yes, to me it was. Exact same form factor as my old ax88u. One thing to bear in mind - this router can't do 6GHz. It's a hardware limitation.
