Is there any way to limit file size using FTP?

I'm currently using the latest version of merlin firmware and noticed it uses vsftpd, I'n the web interface it's easy to make a folder and lock a user into that folder, but is there anyway to limit the file size that a user can upload by modifying some config file via winscp or telnet? Thanks.

vsftpd doesn't have any options to limit the file size.

The usual approach would be to limit the user or group at the OS level using quotas. AFAIK the router doesn't support quotas, at least none of the tools are installed.

Not sure if we can set them in Asus wrt (though I would assume so), but check the users ulimits. Usually you can set a global max file size for a particular user in other Linux/Unix distributions.
