AdGuardHome Issue with running AdGuardHome after router reboot

chaosme

New Around Here
I was using AdGuardHome with no issues for the past few months but recently after a scheduled router reboot at the start of the month (1 May), I noticed that the System Log has the following lines being repeated multiple times at an interval of once every 21 seconds. It was being repeated so often that the entire viewable log history was just these few error lines:

rc_service: service 9611:notify_rc restart_dnsmasq
custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/service-event (args: restart dnsmasq)
S99AdGuardHome[5730]: Failed to start AdGuardHome from S99AdGuardHome[5730].
custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/dnsmasq.postconf (args: /etc/dnsmasq.conf)
(dnsmasq.postconf): Updating /etc/dnsmasq.conf for unbound.....
custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/service-event-end (args: restart dnsmasq)

Suspecting something is wrong with AdGuardHome, I tried to open AdGuardHome via amtm to reinstall or repair it but immediately after the startup lines, multiple lines error text started to flow through the screen rapidly and the AdGuardHome script exits automatically. There were so many error lines that I am unable to scroll back to the top in the putty ssh shell.
A portion of the end of the error lines is inserted below.

My router is the RT-BE88 running Merlin firmware 3006.102.3 and the AdGuardHome version on my router is 1.7.6.

At the moment the only option I can do is to kill the AdGuardHome process to stop it from attempting to start the AdGuardHome service without success repeatedly.
I have tried to reboot the router, reinstall Entware, and reseating the USB drive; all without any success.

How can I resolve this issue to either fix AdGuardHome or remove it from my router?
