issues caused from DNSMASQ

I am currently suffering from DNSMASQ --log-async using 100% of resources on randomly switching CPU'S any suggestion to fix this?
 
What router model? What firmware version? When did the issue start?
 
RT-AC68U 384.13 , I think it is associated with diversion, because the issue goes away when diversion is turned off.
I am going to move my question to Diversion
