Hi there, since i´ve discovered this forum i´ve been learning a lot about networking and it´s problems, so thanks!

I have an RT-AC68U and the only main problem that a have is this...

No issues at all on 3.0.0.4.374.371

Since the upgrade to 3.0.0.4.374.583 the router page after a few minutes get´s inaccessible, download master too, air cloud, even my SMB connections dropps, i can still access the internet with no hassle.

The solution comes in powering off the router and turning back on, but after a few minutes it happens again.

So 3.0.0.4.374.4422 came out and did it a try, the same, try it too reseting settings but still no luck.

Overall, if i go back o good old 3.0.0.4.374.371 i don´t have any issues at all.

Any major changes in this 2 last upgrades that could making this?
Since i using an (old) firmware i´m i losing any new features or less secure connections?

Try disabling Download Master to see if it's the cause - it could be overloading your router.

So i tested a few things and discovered new things.

If i disable download master it stays fine, even when it´s enable it stays too, the problem is when it start´s do download something, as soon as i add a torrent to download master, minutes from there it stop´s responding.

Try adjusting your settings then to reduce the number of concurrent downloads.

Also try to keep an eye on the System Log while torrenting to see if any system error messages get logged (such as running out of memory, or a read error on your disk).

As soon it get´s downloading (1 torrent) it get´s unreachable, the system log only goes until downloading

I have the same problem and started occurring with few last releases or so. Hangs randomly but quite often when downloading in DM.

Only way to recovery is to reboot router. Very annoying.

Well for me 3.0.0.4.374.371 works flawless, it is the last 2 updates that are annoying me.

I´ve got exact the same issue.
Version 3.0.0.3.374.371 was working fine, updated to 4422 and now a download hangs up the router. Reboot is the only way to get access to the gui again.

I hope Asus will fix this issue soon, since the download feature was one of the reasons I bought this router for.

3.0.0.4.374.4561 is out and the same problem...

Back to 3.0.0.3.374.371, again...

It looks like that the download master 3.1.0.88 update solve this problem (for me).
I´m going in 3 days now with 3.0.0.4.374.4561 and haven´t had any issues.

Do you update the FW to 374.4561 first and then update your DM? Did you experience any random reboot? Can you tell how long did your router stay up already?
