The model number for the 4 port is KB-M2-04. These are sold on Amazon, I think, as a pair (one single port, one 4 port) for a very reasonable 99$. They've been on sale for over a year but hardly any review. Has anyone here ever used these and would you pair them up with your existing adapters? The only info I have been able to find so far is from an old Tivo thread and it seems these were originally named Yitong Technology. I'm looking to remove all of my MoCA 1.0 devices and a pair of these would make that move quite affordable.

EDIT: I see no mention of 'bonded' so I'm guessing that's why these are cheaper than the pair of single port explicitly stated as bonded MoCA. Those go for 15$ more. Still, looking to know any experience with this brand.

I had one of the Yitong technology products and it failed every few days and needed to be powered off/on. If you just need single port bridge functionality, the Motorola adapters have gotten pretty good reviews.

If you want something with a built-in switch I have had very good luck taking verizon g1100 modems (around $50 used) and converting them to bridges/wireless access points. They are largeish.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am more interested in how reliable the devices are compared to its competitors. Looks like I will stick with a pair of Motorolas for 5 bucks more. I need to get an 8 port switch anyway so I will get that separately.
