LAN > LAN IP update issues

Bolt

New Around Here
I have an AC68U running 380.69_2, and am in the process of setting it to replace an older router. As such, I have to change the router's IP address from time to time to setup, and then test it on the existing network. Lately (I feel like since updating from 380.69_0 firmware a few days ago) when I change the LAN IP via the web GUI, it does not reliably change the IP address. Last time, it took 3 attempts to get it to "take". Currently, I can't get it to take a new IP address at all. What gives? What do I need to be looking at?

Are you doing this with it plugged into the existing network and the old router on?
It will look for other conflicting IP’s (or I assume it does as with most other *nix based systems) and revert if it finds one.

No, I was always careful to have the 2 isolated when making IP address changes to them. Anyways, I got through it, and am done making changes. Thanks for the response.
