LAN to WAN with 2 router setup

I have successfully setup a Public LAN (192.168.1.1/24) to which I connected all my unsecure IoT Stuff & a Private LAN (192.168.2.1/24) to which I have connected all my important PC / NAS / Laptops etc. So far this setup is working fine. I am able to ping from Private to Public but not the other way around.

However, I want an exception. Let me explain.

My PC (software) to stream from my collection is a IoT device and hence it is in my Public LAN. However, my collection is in my Private LAN. Can I ALLOW a a specific PC in my Public LAN to access a specific PC/NAS in my Private LAN - Off course I am defeating the purpose -

It depends on the capabilities of your particular router, but usually you would create a port forwarding rule on 192.168.2.1 with a restriction on the source IP address (i.e. to only allow the PC streamer).

Colin, Thank you. On second thoughts maybe I will have redundant NAS on the Public LAN, otherwise my Private LAN NAS will be exposed to all the IoT's (port forwarded ones)
