Xirrus still is god tier wifi. The roaming is solid and smooth. So is Cisco Meraki.

Xirrus and Cisco/Meraki are probably out of scope for the SOHO market - it's good gear without a doubt, but spendy...

Best worth it though. I'm done with consumer crap gear. Never going to spend a dime on that crap. Been let down by too many of those companies that don't care. Amped is one of those. Been really let down by them I thought they would have worked out but nope. The RTA15 was too problematic for being so expensive and the support and everything else is lackluster at best. I thought that company would have been different, responsive, and nice, but they turned out to be just like the rest of the meh offerings out there. Better off getting ubiquity if you don't got much money, at least the firmware is more developed and they don't censor people and don't ignore a HUGE supporter!

BTW The Meraki Z1 is cheaper then the RTA15 was and has been one amazeballs home router.
