LAN Can...but Wireless Can't (Access NAS)
I've spent over 10 hours reading many forums, suggestions are all over the map, blaming router and/or the OS. My last and best stop is SMB for help, and would be much appreciated...again.
With this Win7 laptop connected via ethernet cable we are able to access the NAS via a mapped drive letter, everything is fine.
If we disconnect the cable and use wireless the drive letter is broken (red X), no access to NAS folders. How do we fix this?
This is a clean install of Win7-64. The LAN network uses the generic name "Network". Not sure if this is problamatic but the 2.4 SSID is a different name.
ERROR MESSAGES:
Selecting the NAS drive letter on wireless produces the following:
From what I have read, best guess was about credentials. That the wireless credentials are different from those ethernet credentials used when the drive letter was created. But no steps provided on how to fix.

- We do have internet access (browser) on wireless
- Oddly, Window Media Player will display the NAS contents on wireless. (I stumbled into this)
- NAS icon appears in network only when connected with ethernet cable
- Network discovery, File sharing, & Public Folders are turned ON for both "Home" and "Public".
- Drive letter has "remember login" checked. Also tried checking "alternate credentials".
- Laptop uses Intel N-6230 80211 a/b/g/n dual band card. Connected via 2.4ghz.
