LG NAS N2B1 eSata Problem

BigTai

New Around Here
Hey guys,

I set up the NAS with 2x 2TB drives yesterday and nearly everything seems to work fine. I can hook up my eSata drive and it's recognised in both the information field in the web GUI under eSATA and in my network shares. There doesn't seem, however, to be any way to transfer files directly from the eSata to the NAS disks. When I've tried doing it via my network shares, it seems to be transferring the files across my network via the router instead of directly. This means that I'm getting a transfer speed of under 3MBs/s (using 80megabit power blocks :() - not helpful!

Please tell me that there's some way to transfer directly from my eSata disk to the NAS files at a reasonable speed. So far my only option seems to be to transfer to USB then do a USB sync - not a good idea!

Thank you for any help you can give!

Sorry, but there isn't a way.
