New Around Here
I have a web site with one page that is developed in ASP.NET. I understand that for *nix to run ASP.NET, mono has to be added to lighttpd. So far I have not found anyone who has successfully loaded lighttpd+mono or otherwise run ASP.NET from my existing NAS, a DNS-323.
I have many options, having built literally thousands of Unix/Linux boxes, and thousands more Windows servers and workstations, but I want a low-power, always-on device that satisfies my two main needs:
So my main question is what consumer/smb grade NAS (i.e. reasonably priced, but quality) has anyone configured as a web-server that can serve ASP.NET pages via lighttpd+mono or other combined services? I prefer a NAS that has very efficient power, and a minimum of two and preferrably four or more SATA drive bays (for RAID 5 configuration).
If anyone knows of NAS that satisfies these criteria, please let me know.

I have many options, having built literally thousands of Unix/Linux boxes, and thousands more Windows servers and workstations, but I want a low-power, always-on device that satisfies my two main needs:
- Serve my website with robust services, including ASP.NET
- Allow the use of a variety of DLNA services for local media use
