It seems that the invocation for the lld2d daemon in rc is off; it will only start for the P/R/W models. There is a check in start_lltp() which fails for only this submodel.
Can lld2d.rtac68r be used as a proxy for the "U" model? For that matter, why are there custom binaries for each submodel?
Note as well that lld2d.rtac68u actually exists in the git tree, and is installed as "lld2d" without suffix.
