looking for great range, stability; speed not so important

New Around Here
Hey,

I'm trying to find a new wireless router to bridge my DSL modem to. I'm hoping to find one with a great range to cover the whole house, and that is actually stable and doesn't keep dropping the signal or need to be restarted. I don't do a lot of file transferring between devices, and the DSL is 6Mb, so speed is not a real issue. Mainly I just want something that will work everywhere in the house and be reliable.

I've been looking and so far haven't had a lot of luck. I've found lots of expert reviews, but when I check user reviews they aren't as raving. The Asus RT-N66U is one exception that has positive user reviews for the vast majority from what I've seen; it just has more features than I'd really need, and I wouldn't mind finding something a little cheaper.

Any suggestions at all?

Thanks a lot.
