In another forum, a developer of llink, an http streaming server for popcorn hour has an example of an atom-based inexpensive raided nas using open solaris and zfs. Worth a look.

Very interesting article.

The author is brave enough to plug a PCI-X card into the PCI slot. Although it works, but the max bandwidth of ordinary PCI bus is just 133MB/s. Five hard disks can easy overload the bus.

And also I am so sure it is OSol, as some text based installation screen seems coming from Solaris.
