Main difference between merlin and stock for 3006 branch

Hello,
I have an ax86u pro, and I have a naive question. In the 3004 branch, I understood merlin firmware changed the vpn fusion part to vpn director, as well as added the ability for command line, amtm, etc. At that time, I used the yazfi for guest network.

Now with the 3006 branch merlin, I'm looking for some clarity on some aspects and if they changed. I searched but couldn't really find it.
Did any of the guest network PRO stuff change between stock 006 and merlin?
How about the ability to use VPN for specific wifi networks? Are they set up any differently, or would a simple merlin flash carry over everything.

I realize the vpn director replaces vpn fusion, but I'm not clear how this affects the guest network pro, and the VPN settings within in.

I hope this makes some sense. I'm trying to understand what aspects change if I switch to merlin, as I rely on the guest network pro now instead of yazfi, and on the VPN through specific wifi networks.

If it's not mentionned, then it wasn't changed. The initial 3006.102.1 changelog should have adressed anything that was changed over the stock firmware and which was specific to 3006.

So, Guest Network Pro and VPN Networks both work the same as with the original firmware.
