Hi,

I'm looking to replace my 4-port 10/100 POE switch and 16-port Gigabit into a single managed switch. Reason to upgrade is I need about 7 POE ports.

Gigabit is required for the PCs, NAS and fileserver. POE is required for the IP cameras around the place. Internet is provided by 4Mbps DSL and 1.6Mbps 3G on a Linksys RV042.

I've been looking at the Cisco (formerly Linksys) Cisco SRW2024P but recently have also been looking at the HP ProCurve 2520G-24-PoE Switch. Price wise, they're quite close. I know NetGear has one equivalent too but they're harder to find where I am. Does anyone have experience with either switches that would like to comment on them?

regards,
Eugene
