Managed Giga Switch question

My network setup at home is this:

Cable Modem Motorola SB6120 (1000BT)
Apple Airport Extreme Time Capsule Dual-Band 1TB (1000BT & 802.11n)

Juniper NetScreen 5GT (100BT) VPN (for remote office work)

Can I buy a managed 8 port 1000BT switch and plug all three of the above devices into it and "manage" the network to do this:

Specify a range of IP's that are the IP's of my work, and direct those to use the Juniper VPN to connect to work.
Specify all other IP's to use the Airport router/cable modem.
I only want the Juniper to be used for "work related" traffic, and all other traffic both on the intranet and internet should be 1000BT and not throttled down by the VPN 100BT bottleneck.
Also I am unable to configure the VPN as it is installed and administered by my employer, and I would like no traffic to pass through that device that isn't work related. I would only want those specific work IP's and work DNS lookups to pass through that device.
Is this possible? What is the nomenclature for the management of the 1000BT switch to direct IP traffic?
Thank you so much,

Matthewood
