Max USB current and USB on/off

New Around Here
Hi there!
Does anyone knows how much current the routers USB ports can handle without damaging it?
And if it could provide between 700 and 900 mA, is it possible to switch the USB power on and off?

Thanks, but i know the USB specification.
Question is if the Asus Router provides more than the specification.
Many Devices deliver more than 500mA without a problem or a risk of damaging it, others don't.
