Merlin won't load - Please wait, processing

so, I downloaded the latest firmware from Merlin and tried to update it.
When I hit Upload it just says "Please wait, processing..." and has been doing this for 10 minutes now.
doesn't seem to be doing anything?

Reload the page and see what comes up.

did you unzip the file before you attempted uploading?

Yep, you want to load the *.trx file.

yes, I unzipped it.
I'm trying to use to use RT-AC56U_3.0.0.4_374.40_0.trx

Not sure what happens to you. What if the file is corrupt. Re-dowload the zip and try again. Rebooting the router before you try to load the .trx again could also help.

Also make sure you don't have any USB devices plugged in the router during the flash. There have been more then a few posts here with your issue and that was the problem.

I actually reset the modem to factory settings and now have the build loaded.
