How do I deal with this if I am upgrading firmware on a mesh node?
"After installing this firmware, we strongly recommend performing a factory-default reset to activate every new security adjustment."

Thanks,

Thanks,

This messaging from ASUS *likely* does not apply to the mesh nodes, and more than likely only the primary router. Hard to say for sure, as they provide little detail. (Usually on purpose)
However, if you want to factory reset it to be sure, you just need to un-pair the node and remove it from the network (which factory resets it) and then re-add it to the mesh network by re-pairing it.

Thanks,

Removing a node from AiMesh will automatically reset it. Then just add it back to the AiMesh after it has settled down.

Thanks, I upgraded and then removed and readded the node and everything works great.
